Anzac Day commemorations 2015 – LOBO OZ

As our inaugural Fly-in landed on Anzac Day 2015, which commemorated 100 years since the ANZACs Gallipoli landing, our meeting recognised our forefathers’ sacrifices.

Early in the day, we observed the traditional minute’s silence; but mid-morning, there was no silence as we witnessed preparations for an Anzac Day aerobatics tribute by Rod Hall in his Albatros L-39C as he departed for Wauchope.

As aviation enthusiasts, LOBO OZ members took a brief coffee break when he fired up to leave Port Macquarie…
