Suggested activities for partners not attending the conference sessions.

If you are a keen golfer, the McCracken Golf Course at Victor Harbour is at your doorstep. It is a Par 72 course with lots of bunkers and about 14 lakes, a good-looking golf course. Bookings taken by the pro-shop.

This weekend also sees the Wooden Boat Festival happening at the Goolwa Wharf. There will be lots of activities associated with this festival including Paddle Steam Boat rides, boat building, not to mention hundreds of wooden boats. http://www.sawoodenboatfestival.com.au/

Our contact at the Goolwa Wharf is Liz, and she is happy to help make your visit enjoyable.

Markets are happening at both the Wharf and Victor Harbour.

If you feel like doing a bit of shopping, then head to Port Elliot.

Last but not least, we are in wine country. There are a number of very good wineries in the Strathalbyn and Langhorne areas.

Our members, Peter and Junie, have good contacts at Angas Plains Estate, and I know there will be a group heading there. See the menu below.

So whilst I have not organised any specific tour, there are options to consider.

Please consider what might interest those not attending the conference sessions, and whether you would like to share your plans with others to combine travel options.
