Free joy flights for youngsters – encouraging our future aviators
Catching up with fellow aviators is what this event will be all about. A relaxed, traditional Aussie fly-In!

“The organisers are hoping to be able to attract at least one of each type of various aircraft lineages – such as one each of the Vans types (from RV3 – RV14) for a static display and hopefully a flypast; wouldn’t it be great if we could achieve same for the Lancairs – imagine a line astern flypast of a 360, Super ES, Legacy, IV, IV-PT and Evolution – and may be even several of some of the types! From a planning point of view, if anyone is interested in participating in this with our beautiful machines, please let me know soonest and I’ll liaise with the event organisers.”

There will be a good opportunity for us to get out and do some flying. It would be great to see as many Lancairs as possible at Narromine.

Be great to get together…For full details of this event, check out www.ausfly.com.au”….

LOBO Oz on FaceBook

In response to suggestions made at our Goolwa get-together, we have now started a Closed Group on FaceBook! It is to be a place to share events, news, links, ideas and projects among members.

If you are already on FaceBook, then simply go to:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/120307741906954/

Submit a request to join the group, and if you are a member, you will be able to join the group.

We have already had a few members respond to emails announcing this group, but would love to have more join.

[Note: if you don’t already belong to FaceBook, you can simply make a profile, say for your plane, and use that to link to this group. Then keep this profile private or low key, if you’re not interested in the social aspects of FaceBook or simply don’t have the time. You may have to let us know it’s you via emails though.]

Do think about it though – we have already had a member share photos of his panel upgrade. There’s much more to come! It would also be a great place to set up informal fly-ins among the group, without a lot of forward planning.

[P.S. Many thanks to members who have paid membership fees for 2017/18. It will make planning for events much easier. You can submit $20 via the PayPal link to the right.]
